Run or walk to honor the memory of someone you have lost. Pay it forward to grieving children by raising funds to send them to a life-transforming weekend at Comfort Zone Camp. All are welcome to join Comfort Zone's Grief Relief Team, an incredible network of Comfort Zone volunteers, camper parents, staff and supporters who raise awareness and funds to send grieving children to Comfort Zone Camp.
Founded in 1998, Comfort Zone Camp is a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization that offers free year-round bereavement camps to children ages 7-17 who have suffered the death of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver. Headquartered in Richmond, VA, camps are offered in Virginia, Massachusetts, New Jersey and California. Camps create an environment where grieving children can have fun and break the isolation grief often brings.
Click here to register for the Walt Disney World Marathon, Half Marathon, Marathon Relay, Goofy and a Half Challenge, Family Fun Run 5K or the Mickey Mile. Team Registration fee of $25 includes team technical shirt and covers team administrative costs.
