Dear friends and family,

Hello and thanks for visiting my fundraising site! Let me tell you a bit about the origination I will be running the Chicago Marathon for.

World Vision is a Christian organization that works to tackle the root causes of poverty by working with children, families, and their communities to provide things like clean water, health care, nutritious food, education, and economic opportunities.

As a World Vision donor, I highly support the organization and what they are doing to make a difference in the world. My husband and I support a child in Kenya named Dorin, whose picture is seen on the left. We have been her sponsor for 3 years now and it has been a joy to recieve letters and pictures from her, which has been living proof that our sponsorship has made a difference in her life.

This October, I will run in the Chicago Marathon for Team World Vision. Please join me by supporting my efforts through Team World Vision by making a one-time tax-deductible donation. I would love to raise $260, just $10 a mile, so that I can continue to make a difference alongside World Vision.
