As some of you may already know, my mother lost her battle with Pulmonary Hypertension recently.  She was a very strong PH patient that strived to lead a very normal life while raising awareness of her disease.  Pulmonary hypertension is a debilitating, life-threatening illness currently with no cure. It causes high blood pressure in the lungs, which produces progressive breathlessness and ultimately threatens life itself.  This illness literally takes your breath away each and every day, but there is hope for a cure! 

With your participation and/or donation toward this event, we will already be one step closer to finding a cure!  The next event is the Baltimore PH Walk for Hope.  My mother was a strong advocate for this event and had signed up for it prior to her passing.  We have a team named 'Team Hope - The Boehk family' for those interested in joining us.
