Hi friends and family!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! As many of you know I love to run and discovered this 5k in 2008 through a dear friend. Since that time I have had the opportunity to learn more about Thrive St. Louis and really embrace what they are doing.

I've never raised funds for races. I always figured if I ever did, I wanted it to be for something I felt a great deal of passion for and felt led to do. In 2008, I felt that passion. I feel this organization is so valuable and worthy of support, even if it is a small amount. 

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising effrots.

This year I am forming a team called Team Yellow Dog!  I'll be running on May 30th  -you're welcome to join me on the team. 

 

To register for the 5k, go to "http://firstgiving.com/thrive":URL, select Join a Team. On the next page, select the event: Take Strides to Thrive. Then follow the registration process. DON'T FORGET TO CHOOSE TEAM YELLOW DOG!

Thank you for considering a donation. I know this is the best ecomomic climate to be raising race support. However, Edmund Burke said it well with "No one could make a greater mistake then he who did nothing because he could only do little."
