Dear friends and family,
Those of you who knew Rachael like I did will whole-heartedly agree that she was one of the most genuinely caring and thoughtful people on the face of the earth. As she fought her long battle with melanoma, she also proved to be one of the strongest people I ever knew. I greatly loved and admired Rachael's positive attitude, strong faith, and of course, her persistent smile! :)
Rachael's courageous battle ended on January 24th, 2012. She was just barely 26 years old. In her brief time here on earth, she touched countless lives, and her spirit and memory will continue to make the world a better place for a very long time.
On Sunday, May 27th, I will be running my first marathon in Madison, and I am proud to run this race in honor of Rachael and so many others who have fought the battle against melanoma. If you would like to make a donation to the Melanoma Research Foundation, this website is simple, fast and totally secure. Let's work together to help find a cure.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
