The past year has been filled with triumphs and tragedies for me and my family, but what has been more present than ever is Love. I would love for you to follow me as I train for my third ING New York City Marathon running 26.2 miles to aide an organization very dear to my heart, one that is founded and operates from Love: Marriage Equality USA.

MEUSA is a grassroots campaign whose objective is to teach, support, enlighten, and fight for the equal rights for LGBT couples and their families. The road to Equality is a long one and this goal can only be achieved one mile at a time. This creates a beautiful juxtaposition with the journey I am on in my training and so I urge you to take a moment and donate whatever you can to Marriage Equality USA. It is with great pride that I run in their name on November 4, and by pledging donations and following my journey we will be celebrating the most powerful gift we have together : Love.

Any donation is greatly appreciated: large or small. Please stand up to intolerance, hatred, and ignorance. Please join me and MEUSA as we tackle one mile at a time until we have reached the finish line.
