Description: Nicholas House, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation that operates facilities for homeless families. It serves the Metro-Atlanta area, and each year houses and provides services to more than 50 such families representing about 75 parents and 150 children. It provides aftercare services to an additional 30 families.

Mission: The Mission of Nicholas House, Inc. is to assist families in making the transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency. NHI understands that providing basic subsistence - food and shelter, is necessary but not sufficient to prevent most homeless persons from becoming homeless again. NHI helps families address the root causes of their homelessness by offering counseling, case management, assistance with life skills and parenting, and other supportive services.
