Description: Diabetes Youth Services (DYS) is the only regional organization meeting the immediate needs of children with diabetes. We are an independent nonprofit organization providing educational and supportive services for young people with diabetes, their families, schools, and communities in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.

Mission: Our mission is threefold: to promote physical and emotional wellness of children with diabetes and their families; to prevent the occurrence of life threatening complications; and to reduce healthcare costs that escalate when their disease is not well controlled.
