Clean Your Streams is the most nature oriented, fun, productive, inclusive event I have ever been a part of! Last year was my first year doing Clean Your Streams and I have been doing all I can for Clean Your Streams and Partners for Clean Streams since. In that time, I have learned just how important caring for our waterways actually is. We have no choice, it must be done! But that's ok because it's fun to be in the rivers, learning and caring for our drinking water.

I am now asking for your help. You might not be able to join me in the rivers on September 15th but you can join the cause. You can help us protect our precious water. It always amazes me just how far a few dollars will go. Will you help?

I plan to be working in the streams from about 8:30-11:30am pulling trash from streams. I will most likely find plastic bags, plastic wrappers, tires, food wrappers, toys, pens, car parts and who knows what else! I'll fill up multiple garbage bags. And inspire others to do the same.

I can't wait for Clean Your Streams when I can enjoy nature, remove trash from our waterways, help educate others on the importance of caring for our ecosystem, have fun and have an excuse to be muddy!
