Bras for a Cause is an event organized by the Rack Pack at Gilda's Club Metro Detroit - a rare support group for women in their 20's and 30's who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. For over a decade Gilda's Club has been providing cancer support in the Detroit Metropolitan Area for survivors, their friends and families. In 2010, the Rack Pack and Bras for a Cause lost its founder – Shannon Watson – to breast cancer. We will continue this event each year in her honor.
The 3rd Annual Bras for a Cause will be an uplifting experience, combining live and silent auctions, as well as a unique Art Bra Fashion Show (where cancer survivors become the stars of the evening), with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit Gilda's Club Metro Detroit.
Our past two events have been extremely successful, with over $150,000 raised for Gilda's Club in 2009 and 2010!! With your help, we can make Bras for a Cause 2011 bigger and better!
