After many years of struggling with infertility and pregnancy loss, Alex and I were finally blessed with a beautiful baby girl in August 2010! She was absolutely perfect and everything we spent so many years praying for.

On June 6, 2011, when Kate was 10.5 months old, we received the devastating news that she has Congenital Amegakaryocytic Thrombocytopenia, an incredible rare form of bone marrow failure. Her only chance at survival is a complete bone marrow transplant.
 

As of July 14, 2011 we are still searching for Kate's perfect match so we can move forward with the transplant.
 

Help us raise money for DKMS so they are able to cover the costs associated with adding new bone marrow donors to the national registry. Without organizations like DKMS, Kate's chances of finding a match would be much lower.
