SLYPA Campaign for Haiti Relief
The devastation caused by the earthquake in Haiti takes many of us back to the 2004 tsunami that crashed the shores of Sri Lanka. SLYPA extends our deepest sympathies and pledges our support for the victims of this terrible disaster. After the tsunami, the world came together to provide support for the people of Sri Lanka. Now it is time for us to give back.
SLYPA is officially launching the SLYPA Campaign for Haitian Relief to raise $10,000 to support Partners in Health, which is emerging as one of the most reputable and effective organizations in the region. To kickoff the campaign, the SLYPA Board of Directors has made a donation to the campaign. Currently, our members around the country are organizing fundraising events to help in this effort.
If we all pull together, we can reach and even surpass this fundraising goal and show strong support from our community to the people of Haiti.
