Thank you for visiting our personal fundraising page. Our cousin, Dorothy (Lopes) Bakare, was diagnosed with Leukemia almost 3 years ago after giving birth to her daughter Aaliyah. She has been fighting an uphill battle ever since. After facing numerous chemo treatments and hundreds of hospital stays, she continues to struggle with the disease. Dorothy had been a supporter of causes like this one before she got the disease herself. She is determined to fight and win the battle with luekemia. Her attitude and strength are such an inspiration to our family and to everyone who comes in contact with her. Please sponsor our family, as we walk in her honor.
