As many of you know, we lost our beloved 20 year old son, Paul, to suicide on November 15, 2007. To those of you who knew Paul, this came as a complete shock.  

The statistics for suicide in Colorado are staggering. We must all work to stop this epidemic ! Supporting Second Wind is a positive step in that direction- by providing education and counseling  to today's youth . Maybe if Paul knew that almost half of all teens have more than a passing thought of suicide, he would have been willing to talk about his depression and seek help.

We will forever miss our wonderful son, but we can  have some comfort by stopping this horrible tragedy from striking others.
