BARCC and the work that is done there is something that is important to not just us as members of the Board, but all of us as members of a larger community.  Sexual violence is something that affects everyone---1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime. 

For 35 years, BARCC has remained the only comprehensive rape crisis center in the greater Boston area.  Their team of 22 staff and 130 volunteers provide round the clock services for survivors and their familes, as well as other counseling and legal services and educational and outreach services to members of the community--all free of charge.

In times such as these, BARCC and its clients need our support more than ever. We greatly appreciate your generosity.
