For me the greatest joy of WaterFire is the people who come to see it each evening - the polite procession along the river, the quiet joy of couples leaning into one another, or visitors standing absolutely still, lost in the music and beauty of the moment. 

And the people who make it all possible are equally amazing.  Hundreds of dedicated volunteers and a small, loyal staff, work very hard to present WaterFire for free each night.  The generosity of the many people who make WaterFire a success is a truely remarkable gift.
