I'm currently training to participate in the San Jose Rock n Roll Half Marathon, to be held on October 4, 2009. I am running on behalf of Pratham, which raises money to educate the extreme poor children in India. It is also being used as a role model for similar efforts in other third world countries The San Jose Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon. is 13.1 miles and  is fun event featuring lots of live bands that will be playing along the course.
