Hi, thanks for visiting my page. My name is Becky, and I'm 18 years old. I'm Scottish, though I'm currently spending a year abroad, studying in Georgia, USA. A couple of months ago, my Father's cancer, which he has had in a few different forms since 2008, was declared terminal. Since he was first diagnosed with Bowel Cancer in 2008, I have known that I want to do something to raise money for Cancer charities, which do such a wonderful job in supporting Cancer patients and their families.

Every penny/cent of the money I make will be split evenly between the two charities I have chosen - Maggie's Centre, and the Bone Cancer Research Trust. These two charities are deeply personal - Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres was my school's charity several years ago, and provide support and councelling for patients and their families. I have also chosen the Bone Cancer Research Trust, as that's the type of cancer my Father has now.

Most of you will probably have seen my other page - the one that uses pounds. I probably should have thought of this earlier, as hopefully this will make it a lot easier for those of us who function in dollars to donate!

All of the money raised on this website will be given to the Cancer Research Foundation, which is based in the States, as opposed to the two charities I'm supporting with the other side, which are based in the UK.

I have decided to raise money by shaving my head. The date for this will by Saturday the 14th of January 2012, and I'll film it and post it here for all of my international friends.
