Hi friends and families,
Yikes ! I am participating in a Polar Plunge to help raise money for our Special Olympics in Ilinois. It is a heartwarming experience to watch our students participate in Special Olympics competition. Seeing the joy on their faces when receiving medals makes it all worthwhile.
I appreciate any donation. This is my first "Polar Plunge" . I know that it will be a BRRRRRRing experience that I will never forget!! Again feel free to donate whatever amount you would like to give towards this special event. Thank you in advance. Am I crazy or what???
Sincerely yours,
Becky Reeder

Thank you for visiting my Polar Plunge fundraising page. They say anyone with a little guts and a warm heart can take the Plunge and I am one of those folks. I’m collecting donations from family, friends, co-workers and anyone else who wants to support the nearly 21,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and more than 6,000 Young Athletes ages 2-7 of Special Olympics Illinois! Your donations will help provide athletes with intellectual disabilities the chance to participate in year-round sports training and competition.
To reward your generosity, I’m going to join more than 5,700 people statewide who will voluntarily jump into freezing cold water in the middle of winter as we take part in the Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunges for Special Olympics Illinois. I guess you could say that I’m “Freezin’ for a Reason”!
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to the LETR Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Illinois.
Many thanks for your support – and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
