Ben has been battling cancer since September of 2009. He has Pleuropulmonary Blastoma (PPB) which is lung cancer. He has a great attitude, has no fear of pokes and kinda likes going to the hospital due to the toys and movies. At 4, he is confident that he is going to beat cancer. After our last scan, we tallied up points and said cancer has 640,000 points and Ben has 2,130,000 points. So, we are clearly winning and still have to fight. His favorite things currently are race cars, Scooby Doo, Magic School Bus and Trio blocks. 

HopeKids is such a blessing to Ben and the whole family. Ben loves putting on his black HopeKids shirt because he knows that it's going to be a fun day! We've done so much with Hope Kids! Some of his favorite activities are BumbleBee ranch where he's ridden a horse and jumped around in a big bubble. The Monster Truck show and Saturday movies are always a highlight to his weeks. We've also very much enjoyed seeing the plays at Valley Youth Theater and playing at Amazing Jakes.
