Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page.   Most of you know that Volunteering for Special Olympics has been a passion of mine for a number of years.  By sponsoring me, you will make dreams happen for a bunch of people who work their butts off everyday-to do the things you and I take for granted.  Not only does Special Olympics give them a safe environment to compete, it gives them a forum to meet friends, and have a great time.  It's expensive to have children, even more so for a Person with special needs.  These parents devote a HUGE amount of time and money to put smiles on the athletes faces-and you can help them. 

Special Olympics functions solely on donations.  We have some partner companies that help us sponsor events, but for the most part-we count on people like you who care enough to donate.  ANYTHING HELPS!  Don't feel like you need to donate hundreds of dollars (but that would be awesome)-do what you can.

in 2011 through your generous donations, I raised $10,001 on a $10,000 goal!  This year, can we get to $15,000!?!?!?  I am fully aware there is a recession, and a lot of people are tightening belts-the same thing goes for all the families involved with Special Olympics-we need the donations now more than ever.
