We are raising funds to fly youth poets and chaperones to Los Angeles and represent the region in the international poetry slam. Money raised in excees will support the Youth Speaks Nashville organization and programs.

The P-O-E-T-H-O-N will take place on Saturday afternoon on July 17th at I Dream of Weenie and Arthouse Gardens between 3:00 - 8:00p.

In only our second year, Youth Speaks Nashville reached:

·     2,100 students as part of in-school residencies and performances.

·     150 students as part of after school workshops.

·     3,600 audience members as part of 33 community performances.

·     3,500 on-line views of Nashville youth spoken word videos.
