Hello Friends and Family!

I am fundraising for CASA once again.  This year I am the chair of the Board of Directors at CASA.  CASA of Humboldt helps so many children in our community - help that I have witnessed personally.  After three years as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for a very special little girl, my case closed and my CASA child left foster care to live with her mom again.   After my case ended, I chose to join the Board of Directors, first serving as a board member, next as Vice President of the board, and now as President of the board. 

I hope this year that you will be able to donate whatever amount you see fit to our annual fundraiser, the CASA KidWalk.  The KidWalk generates a good portion of the agency's income for the year.  It is also a fun event, inspiring and educating numerous community members about the great work that CASA is doing in Humboldt County. 

Please give what you can and feel good doing so - you're helping a child in need.
