Help Send the Celtic Nations Heritage Queen to Ireland

Making Cultural Connections!

In November 2009, Jadeha Payge Mallett was crowned Miss Celtic Nations.  As part of her completing her contractual obligations, she will serve as an ambassador for Louisiana, Lake Charles and the Celtic Nations Heritage Foundation during a trip to the Sister City of Lake Charles, Cobh (pronounced "Cove") Ireland.

Jadeha will travel to Ireland in August and during her trip Jadeha will be meeting the mayor and town council of Cobh and having various opportunities to share the culture of Louisiana and especially Lake Charles with our Sister City neighbors.  Jadeha will also have the opportunity to learn about the heritage and culture of the Celtic people during her stay in Ireland.

Experiences like this, for young people to share their culture and heritage with others are often a once in a lifetime opportunity.  These opportunities are vital to help preseve and pass on the heritage and culture of people around the world.  Jadeha will learn from and be inspired by this historical trip.

We are hoping that you will also see the importance of such an opportunity for these cultural connections and support this wonderful experience by making a donation.

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure.  It is also the most efficient way to support this fundraising effort.   We thank you for your support and don't forget to forward this on to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
