I am sure you have all met someone affected by lyme disease.  Some have been misdiagnosed for years with MS,fibromyalgia,unexplained psychiatric disorders, autoimmune disorders, depression, gastrointestinal disease ect.. I have friends who have lost their careers, lost their ability to enjoy daily life because of chronic aches and pains, arthritis, and witnessed some of the neurological devastation that can affect the brains of young children /teens leading to misdiagnosing schizophrenia/other disorders.
