Riding my bike has become one of my favorite things to do.

It gets my heart pumping, shows me the same world in a different light, and takes me where I need to go. It's freedom from ever-increasing gas prices, traffic, and day-to-day stresses.

Queen said it best, "I love to ride my bicycle!"

This year for my birthday, I would really appreciate the gift of your support for a charity I believe in. Bikes Not Bombs enhances and enriches the community. In addition to their adult programs (including mechanic courses and volunteer opportunities), Bikes Not Bombs also provides many opportunities for Boston-area youth that help increase their self-esteem and develop life-long skills - these programs include an after-school, pre-teen Girls Action Initiative; pre-employment training; bike safety; mechanics; and much more!

Internationally, Bikes Not Bombs provides means of transportation for so many underdeveloped communities in Central America, the Caribbean and Africa. Over the past 20 years, Bikes Not Bombs has sent more than 22,000 bikes overseas.
