For the third year in a row, my family and I would like to invite you to join us in the fight against Scleroderma. On March. 9, 2009 my mother Beth Newham Rohme was diagnosed with Systemic Scleroderma - it was an illness foreign to our knowledge, but all the same, we became determined to help her and others alike discover a cure. If there is anyone capable of overcoming such an obsticle, it would be my mother - but it is because of your continued love and support that her spirits and hope ALWAYS run high. Last year we set out to raise $1000 and for the second time, we surpassed our goal - for this we are truly grateful. This year I am confident that we can reach a new goal of $2500. The Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma Walk will be taking place at Wantagh Park on Sunday. June, 3. We understand that some may have other commitments, but you can still help by making a small donation in honor of my mother, Beth Newham Rohme. This is a wonderful cause for a woman who is an inspiration to all, we hope you can be apart of it!
Our team name is Rohme'N 4 a Cure and we will have t-shirts again for the walk. If you have any questions or would like to order a shirt, feel free to contact me via facebook or email. Thanks!
