Tomorrow the fundraising page closes so I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank some very special people.
My parents, husband and children for backing me 150% in this mission of mine. My dad for printing the fundraiser in the Italian Club's bulletin and Fr. Jim for posting it in St. Joe's church bulletin. My family, friends and co-workers from home, my online friends from America and abroad, and all the gals from the CILM forum.
To everyone who passed the link around, placed buttons/widgets on their websites or myspaces for me, and those that donated.
If I missed anyone it was purely accidental, but please know I appreciate what everyone has done from the bottom of my heart.
Together we made a difference in someone's life, and hopefully we can do this again down the road.
Special gratitude goes to Mame and Ken Bird, for their strength and never ending love that they are so willing to share with others even in light of the tragedy they themselves endured. I love you guys.
