As many of you know, our son Christopher was diagnosed with Type-1, Juvenile Diabetes, at the age of 2. For almost 11 years Chris has worked very hard to successfully manage his diabetes and live a healthy, normal lifestyle.  It is due to the Diabetic Youth Foundation (DYF) that this has been possible. The DYF has made a huge difference in our lives and the lives of thousands of children, teens and families affected by diabetes. During their programs, participants receive the latest information on proper diabetes management, updates on diabetes technology and advances in research.

Most importantly, we meet others affected by diabetes who share our same life experiences. DYF's endless encouragement, life saving diabetes education and loving care has inspired our family to turn the challenges of living with diabetes into opportunities of a lifetime!
