Join the Asperger Avengers in our second year while we raise money to support Autism and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

We walk, or in some cases, run in support of all those effected with the disorder. Last year we participated and had a lot of fun walking, talking, and meeting new people. We are not alone, there are others out there like us. I am not talking about aliens!

I am talking about mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and more. All of whom have been touched by someone they know and love who has been diagnosed with Autism and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

I walk for my son Devon. He is a 13 year old boy who is full of life. He is smart, funny, kind hearted, and loves to give hugs! Devon was diagnosed with Aspergers at a young age and continues to face many challenges every day. With an awesome support system of family and  friends, including the Autism Society of Greater Akron and Aspies, we have been able to see him make great strides.

He is challenged every day and now we challenge you-- support the Autism Society through our walk/run for Autism!
