Hope for Tucson's Homeless
Partner with us as we develop the Hope Center, a 36,000 square foot emergency shelter facility for some of the 2100 people who sleep on Tucson's streets and in the desert washes.
The Hope Center will house 200+ men, women and children, who will be served ON SITE by agencies and members of local compassionate congregations. There will be a fully staffed medical respite unit and family transitional housing on campus. Some of the ON SITE perks will be daycare, English & ESL classes, job training, a cottage industry, 12-step groups, long-term rehabilitation programs and a variety of other spiritual development programs.
We are currently seeking visionaries who will sponsor and host 10 tables ($500 per table) at the first of two fundraising dinners in 2009: April 18, at the Hilton El Conquistador Resort and another TBA in October. We have a 20 minute presentation to share with your small group. Find out more about us check out http://www.tucsonhope.org, or call 520-471-1720, email, info@tucsonhope.org
