I'm running the NYC Marathon on November 1, 2009 to benefit the Melanoma Research Foundation.  Melanoma is a devastating form of skin cancer that often strikes people in the prime of their lives. I lost my mom 15 years ago after a courageous battle with this deadly disease when she was only 53. I'm running  my third marathon (Philly '05 and NYC '08) so that others may have a better chance of living.

I'm asking you to donate what you can to this great cause. And if you know of someone whose life you would like to commemorate in this race, let me know and I'll carry their names on my back every step of the 26.2 miles.

I am blessed to be able to participate in this race again and I hope I can count on your support.
