It's surprising how many people we know who have been affected one way or another by illness. These days it seems like it's all around us; Cancer, Heart ailments, Diabetes, Lupus, Tuberus Sclerosis, Autism.. the list goes on and on.
It was hard to decide where to focus our efforts so we chose to volunteer our time with the Atlanta Ride For Kids with all donations going towards the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
We became involved after our close friends Steve and Morissa Burwell decided to become task force leaders for this year's Ride for Kids in memory of their son Jeremy. Volunteering along side them just seemed to make sense.
So we have created our page to commerate all of our loved ones who have passed away for any number of reasons: Vic's parents Michele and Jim Jackson, our brother in law Joe Gullo, our grandparents Byrnes, Phelps, Regnier and Jackson, our extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins and close friends all of whom have lost parents, siblings or children (you know who you are).
We are asking that you consider making donations in honor of someone you love to this wonderful and worthwhile organization... The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation's Atlanta Ride For Kids.
