Hi Everyone,

In effort to raise awareness for the 6th most commonly diagnosed form of cancer, we will be running the Pike's Peek 10K on April 29 in Rockville, MD (http://pikespeek10k.com/). We are running in honor of our Dad and all those who's lives has been affected by Bladder Cancer. Please help us "Piss off Bladder Cancer."

Three years ago, our Dad was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer. For those of you who have met our Dad, you will quickly pick up on a few things. He is a great story teller and he loves a good beer. He loves college basketball and football. He is proud to be Irish. He loves his family. He is a fighter. What you may not know, is that he is a Bladder Cancer survivor.

Before his diagnosis, we knew very little about Bladder Cancer. BCAN (Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network) was our first stop to find out more. This wonderful organization is dedicated to increasing public awareness about bladder cancer; to advance bladder cancer research; and to provide educational and support. We took great comfort in knowing that BCAN was there to offer support and most of all....hope.

Today, we are happy to report that our Dad is cancer free. Though his personal battle may be over, we still have a lot for which to fight. Please help us give back to an organization that supports research to find a cure for bladder cancer. This is our way of saying thanks and honoring our Dad's tremendous fight.
