About the Cause
Raphael's Life House (RLH), a Covenant House NJ program in Elizabeth, is a safe-haven for homeless, pregnant women and their babies, once born. RLH provides a safe and supportive living environment within which these mothers are offered services to help them develop the skills and values needed for responsible parenthood.
All women between the ages of 18 and 23 are welcome regardless of race, creed, color, national origin, or economic status. RLH’s goal is to give these women the tools needed to establish an independent living situation for themselves and their families. To learn more about Raphael's Life House, please call 973-286-3400.
About the Ministry
The Blessed Expectations Ministry is a group of volunteers committed to empowering women and their children by improving the quality of their day-to-day lives. We believe this can be achieved in various ways including, but not limited to, creating a safe, nurturing, and comfortable environment in which to develop and grow. This is why Blessed Expectations is assistingwith the transformation of the living space at Raphael's Life House. Your donations and our hard work will make this possible.
About the Event
On Thursday, March 25th, we will transform the offices of Kanebridge Corporation into a fun and festive venue for a wine & cheese party, featuring fashions from Brooks Brothers, jewelry by Knight & Hammer, vendors, prize drawings, and lots more! All proceeds from this event will benefit the homeless, young mothers and babies served by Raphael's Life House.
RSVP Date: To help with the planning process, we would appreciate all pre-registrations to be done by Thursday, March 11th, two weeks before the event.
