Walk the walk for ARF on May 3!
Hannah says: "Her eyes met mine as she walked toward me. I felt her need and knew I had to help her. I wagged my tail so she wouldn't be afraid, and I hoped she wouldn't feel sad about my past. I only have the future to look forward to and want to make a difference in someone's life. She spoke softly to me...I shoved my head up to comfort her as her eyes filled with tears. I would promise to keep her safe. I would promise to always be by her side. I would promise to do everything I could to see her smile. I was so fortunate that she came down my corridor - so many more are out there who haven't walked the corridors. So many more to be saved. At least I could save one. I rescued a human today."
Bobbe says: Thank you for visiting our Paws on Parade web page for Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation! My new family member Hannah was a stray found wandering the streets of Modesto, scared, matted and looking for food. All she wanted was someone to love her - and I'm so lucky she found me. Now we are walking together for ARF at Paws on Parade on May 3 to help all the other animals and people in need.
ARF found new loving homes for more than 2000 dogs and cats last year! But ARF helps people too, bringing the unconditional love of animals to seniors and people in need, educational programs for kids, and providing vet care and pet food for local low income families to help them keep their pets. In these tough times demand for ARF's services increases daily - a donation of just a few dollars can really help save more lives. Please help if you can - together we are making a difference! Help support our walk for ARF or sign up to join the walk with your own dog on May 3 at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek!
Donating through this website is simple, fast, and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to help. ARF uses donations wisely ~ 90 cents out of every dollar goes directly to programs, earning ARF a 4-Star rating on Charity Navigator.
Thank you for your good wishes ~ and please forward this to anyone who you think might want to help too!
Love & kisses,
Bobbe and Hannah
