Thanks for visiting my fundraising page in support of Horizons for Youth!

Horizons for Youth is the only organization in Chicago offering the unique combination of need-based scholarships, one-on-one mentoring, and enrichment programs for 113 elementary through High School students supporting 67 families.

Most of you know I REALLY dread running.  So for the third year in a row, I plan on completing this Half Marathon in support of my Little Sibling, Brian, who I've mentored the last 5 years.  It's also in support of all the other great kids and families at Horizons for Youth, where I've been fortunate to be the Volunteer Director for the past 2 years.

Aside from running for a great cause, the next best part of this experience is that this year, I'll be running alongside two of my best friends!  I've known Biren Patel and Dave Chaidez since 9th grade Health class.  Through the years, I don't think we've ever set our sights this high.  But come August 2nd, TEAM BBD will cross that finish line in support of HfY!!
