I am Coach Bobby Rentz of The Charleston Miracle League. I was fortunate enough to be a coach in the first game of The Charleston Miracle League held in Charleston, SC. I never left! The Charleston Miracle League is a baseball league that provides a place for children and adults with mental and physical challenges to play baseball.
Funding for this league comes from a few grants but mostly donations from the public. We are always trying to find ways to bring more resources into this league and one method is the Bridging the Gap Through Baseball campaign.
AsWhat I would greatly appreciate from all of you, is to sponsor us in our effort to help one of Charleston’s greatest diamonds, The Charleston Miracle League, continue to grow. There is no donation ever that is too small. Every penny will help this continue to grow.
As many of you know, my son Jonathan played in the CML. He is now playing in the CML's Adult league which now has 8 teams. This is the result of great vision by the Board of Director's to identify the need for so many great adults who have disabilites.
I ask that you consider helping the CML to continue to grow by donating to this cause. If you feel you can help even more, setup a page and link it to the CML Braves page and help the CML raise money!!!
If financial support is not something you can do, then come out and help us during the games. The spring season starts February 28, 2010 and we will play every Saturday for the next nine weeks EXCEPT the Saturday that the Cooper River Bridge Run will occur.
