In 2007, our daughters said I should put some purple tape on my goal sticks to honor Mom, who was taken away from us in 1999.  From that humble beginning, a wonderful things blossomed with the help of my hockey team, the KC hockey community, friends that I've made through my love for the Chicago Blackhawks, and several of my coworkers.

Now it is spring in 2008, and my friend Larry in Chicago says it's time to do more.  So, he's suggested using the St. Patrick's day 5K run in Chicago to help raise funds for PanCAN and to increase awareness of pancreatic cancer and honor our Becky.
