Bonnie's Reggae Marathon 2007 Donation Page Hi - Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!I'm Bonnie, and on Saturday December 1, 2007 I ran my second marathon ever: The Reggae Marathon in Negril, Jamaica with a chip time of 6:02:06.I wanted to do something special for the children in Jamaica for this run. I searched and found a great organization - Friends of Jamaica, USA, whose main mission is to help the children of Jamaica by supporting their health, education, and well being. The incidence of poverty in Jamaica is declining. However, almost one of every two Jamaicans who live in poverty is a child while only 37 percent of Jamaicans are children.
