Bonnie's NYC Marathon
"You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late." - Emerson
On Nov. 3, 2013, I'll be running the NYC Marathon. By donating here, you're sponsoring my run and contributing to the Huntington's Disease Society of America. Funds raised will not only support families affected by Huntington's disease, but will contribute to cure-seeking research.
Donating through this site is totally secure. Many thanks for your support, and don't forget to share!
If you dig backstories:
I'm running in memory of Heather and Kirk Stice, my sister and dad, who both passed away from Huntington's disease. Although they only graced our lives for a short time, they made it worth living. They're powerful inspirations to live each day as if tomorrow's not coming.
Digging even deeper:
Huntington's disease is a neuro-degenerative genetic disorder for which there is currently no cure. The disease slowly diminishes an individual's ability to walk, talk and even think. Families affected by HD are strained emotionally, physically, and financially.
