The Badwater Double Marathon pits some of the world's toughest runners, mountaineers, adventure racers and tri-athletes against each other and the elements for a race through California's Death Valley. Lisa will travel 292 miles when she continues on to summit Mt. Whitney before re-tracing her steps to complete her personal journey. She will be the only woman to have completed the Badwater Double twice.

“Why? Candidly, because I always knew I could. There are a handful of people who can do this, and I am one of them. And I’m proud that doing this helped so many others. That’s what I was put here to do.” - Lisa Smith-Batchen in Runtri.com
Please help Lisa and the MPD Foundation achieve their goals by sponsoring each mile she runs in the name of a patient!
