We hope you had a great summer!  Our family sure did. As much time as possible was spent enjoying the sun, the water, and each other.  It's hard to believe it's been a year since our first Buddy Walk.  

The Buddy Walk is the primary fundraiser for an organization that is very dear to our hearts, Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan.  Last year our team raised over $4000 and had no less than 25 people that walked along side in support of our daughter, Lauren.

Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan is an invaluable organzation to the Down syndrome community.   I encourage you to check out www.DSAWM.org to learn all about it.  Much of what is raised directly benefits members that demonstrate a financial need paying for therapies that their family member(s) with Down syndrome receive enormous benefits from.  

Please consider a donation of any amount.  We would also love to have you join our team, Lauren's Smiles, the day of the walk.  The event is a fun filled morning of fellowship, coffee and donuts, crafts for kids and face painting, and a raffle.  If you plan to walk be sure and let us know.  We will be trying to organize an informal picnic after the walk for all those that join us.
