The ice dive was a success!!

It was snowy and 23 degrees. Three divers were getting certified and we spent several hours assisting thier training. When it was time for me to get in I was somewhat chilled so my total dive time ended up only being10 minutes.  As you can see we had some geese friends out on the portion of the lake that was not frozen. Water temperature was 34 degrees.  The water was clear and the ceiling was white. Our bubbles ran out to the middle of the lake  and escaped off the end of the ice shelf. Some of the fellow divers had their regulators malfunction from the cold but they persevered. In the end all went well and everyone had a nice adventure.
