Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Junior Achievement of South Florida, Inc.  Many of you may know that I am a past president and board member for over 15 years for Junior Achievement of South Florida and I truly believe in what this organization is trying to accomplish for the children of our community. 

In addition to the curriculum and programs they offer at local schools, they have recently opened JA World on the campus of BC North and will be servicing over 50,000 5th and 8th grade Broward County students at the facility starting this year.  The goal of this program is to inspire and motivate them to learn through real activities and make actual decisions as they assume their roles of proprietors, civic leaders and consumers while in the setting of a "mini city".  The students will not only learn the process of free enterprise but also concepts that are vital to success in the workplace such as budgeting, banking and customer service.

Due to the launch of JA World, Junior Achievement has increased its staff from 8 to 28 employees to help accommodate the students but they are in need of more resources.
