The idea of running 26.2 miles makes us cringe. We are not runners. Clearly we lack speed. We have a very loose training schedule. We realize there will be pain. But our decision to embark on this journey together and to be part of the McCourt Foundation's mission of raising money towards Alzheimers and MS research carries great significance for our family. Like the McCourt family, we have been affected by these two neurological diseases, taking the lives of our grandfather Harry Brady, aka Papa, and our grandmother, Bernice Johnson who lived with MS for over 25 years. No one wants a cure more for these two debilitating diseases than us. We hope you will join our fight as we raise money for research and conquer heartbreak hill together.
