Brandi Shingledecker's Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
You can donate to SAVE in honor of my father Rob Shingledecker.
John and Eric are riding bikes from Cottage Grove to Waukesha via the Glacial Drumlin Trail. The biking event will be used to raise funds for Prostate Health and Suicide Prevention.
Update 9/13/2010
The bike ride was a success! Eric and John left Cottage grove around 8am and reached Waukesha at about 4pm. Brandi was at the finish line with a bottle of champagne, streamers, and noisemakers ready to go! Check out the pictures if you get a chance. Thank you to all who funded our mission!
Update 12/7/2010
Hi Folks,
Its that time of year. My father's birthday is approaching. We are hoping to collect that last amount to reach our goal of $1000.00 before his birthday on 1/7/2010. Please reach out to family and friends if you get a chance and we would truly appreciate any amount you can donate to help us reach our goal! Here are the items we can fund if we get to the amount:
SAVE's prevention and education programs are designed to:
- Increase knowledge about depression, other brain illnesses and the need for assessment and treatment as suicide prevention.
- Increase knowledge about symptoms of depression and the warning signs of suicidal thinking and behavior.
- Increase understanding and the use of intervention skills that can help avoid the tragedy of suicide.
- Increase knowledge about community resources and how to access and use them.
When the memorial donation amount reaches $1000, my father's name will be placed on the Memorial Wall located at SAVE's headquarters in Minnesota. A light adorns each name and can be lit for special occasions, such as his birthday 1/7/2010 and the date he passed 5/9/2010.

Today we reached our goal of $1000.00, we actually passed it! Merry Christmas!
