Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to check out my First Giving page. It is that time a year that I get to raise money for The Down Syndrome Connection of the Bay Area. This organization has helped me for the last seven years become the guy who makes you melt and smile when you're around me.

I am having a nice summer and can't wait to be a big 2nd grader this fall in a typical class with my friends. Thanks to the funding I helped raise for the Down Syndrome Connection of the Bay Area last year, I get to go see my speech therapist Heather every other week to help me talk better so everyone can understand what I say. I also get to go there and play with other kids and teachers who help us do things our friends who don't have DS do easier then us. All the donations that are given go to classes and other programs to keep the doors open to help me and others with DS be able to get the skills needed to be like other typical kids.

We thank you for the bottom of our hearts for all the support you have given us throughout the years supporting the DSC. You all know how much this organization and event means to us. Our lives are truly blessed to have Brandon in our world and he has taught us so much about ourselves and the world of DS. These kids and adults are truly special people who have a heart of gold. Everyone knows when you get that huge from Brandon you melt and can't help but make you smile or to say "I love you" to him and get in return his "ahhhhh" makes for the best day.

This years Stepping Up for Down Syndrome (previous Buddy Walk) is even extra special because it is on Brandon's birthday October 7th. Please come to the walk and celebrate his birthday with us. We plan on making our team a birthday themed team.
