Walk for Life
In 1997 My Father passed away from HIV/AIDS. My father was everything to me. He was an amazing Father and showed me the real meaning of unconditional love. Whether we are Gay, straight, white, black, HIV positive or not . We are all people that deserve to be treated equal. Without him in my life I would not be the women I am today ..
Even though he did a great job raising me, He was still taken from me to soon. He Never got the chance to meet, hug, kiss, or hold his 3 grandchildren, He never had the chance to watch me get married , walk me down the aisle, or see the many things I have accomplished in my life. That's why this walk and the Utah AIDS foundation is so important to me. So that other grandfathers and Dads will be around to have those memories with their grandchildren and children..
This will be my 13th year walking and raising money for the Utah AIDS Foundation. I walk Each Year in Memory of My Father Joseph C. Romero Jr. I walk so that he along with others will not be forgotten about. I raise money each year to help those who are infected and affected by HIV/AIDS..
This year I have decided to create a team! I would LOVE for you to join my team and help me raise even more money for the AIDS foundation in memory of my Father Joseph Romero Jr..
The walk will be on September 17th this year. So mark your calendars and sign up today to Join my team. Together WE can and will me make a difference. I am always grateful and touched by all the support I get year after year from you all. Thank you for reading my story!
Remember NO donation is to small!!
