Brent Graeber's Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I am running a full marathon to raise money for the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation! Over the past two years, the Little Team That Could has raised over $18,000 for the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation. Our team is running in memory of my late wife Payton. Payton lost her life to this rare form of cancer in January of 2007. This is a wonderful event that brings us together to remember Payton while supporting an organization that is trying to find a cure for this type of cancer.
This is the year I run 26.2 miles. I have started training in the snow and cold. My first long training run was along the Hudson River in New York City. The whole time we ran in the snow toward the Statue of Liberty. A very beautiful run, but at 20 degreees a very hard run as well. So if you haven't guessed by the locatoin of the run, I recently moved to New York City. I'm taking classes to help with my writing, working remotely and training for a marathon. It's a very packed schedule, but also a wonderful experience. Not only am I running, but I'm also walking around the city and trying to draw on it's inspiration.
We hope that you can support us and support the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. Every penny you donate goes directly to carcinoid research.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Thank you for supporting our cause.
